General Description:

Project Coordinator/Project Archivist: Hank Kaplan Boxing Archive

The Project Archivist will compile a collection inventory and write
the collection finding-aid, providing data for collection-level
MARC records.

Other Duties:

The position will also involve daily supervision and scheduling of
two part-time archivists, and student interns, as well as the
dissemination and promotion of the Archive upon the project’s
completion.

Salary:$50,000.00 - $55,000.00

Core Competencies/Qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Library Science; Archival Studies or a
 graduate degree in History with an archives background will be
 required;

• A subject background in American Studies is preferred;

• Also required will be 3-5 years experience in archival work and
 supervision and familiarity with standards of archival description
 including EAD and DACS.
