In this role, you will assist with all aspects of the daily operation of the NBC Sports Group Media Library in Stamford, CT. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist with archiving footage in both physical and digital form
  • Enter media metadata into the NBC Sports Group digital archive and physical media tracking systems
  • Work to combine the NBC Olympics, NBC Sports Network and NBC Sports archives into a single library
  • Log videotapes, discs and files as needed
  • Assist production personnel with footage searches
  • Arrange for dubs to be made in order to fulfill internal and external footage requests
  • Assist with footage and photo licensing research
  • Organize and conduct large-scale videotape dubbing and conversion projects
  • Track and order media stock as needed
  • Pull and re-shelve tapes and discs and assist with the upkeep of the physical condition of the library
  • Assist all aspects of production as needed
  • Must be able and willing to work varied hours, including some nights, overnights, and weekend shifts
  • Must be willing and able to work in Stamford, CT
  • Strong sports knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated experience working under tight deadlines, and well in high pressure situations
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
