Digital Content Management Specialist, Zoetis – NJ



Zoetis is seeking a Digital Content Management Specialist; 1 year contract; Part-time 20 hours per week; On-site in Madison, NJ. The role is accountable for preparing and posting content to the company intranet, the company website and to several corporate social media platforms, and creating and publishing a number of html email publications.

Content Management: This role is responsible for preparing and formatting content (text, images, video) and then posting it across a number of digital platforms. These platforms include the company’s colleague email system, the company’s intranet, website, social media sites, mobile applications, and SharePoint sites. This is a hands-on role that requires expert skill in Drupal and SharePoint content management environments. It is a role that also requires the ability to format, resize, and edit content for multiple layouts. Some copywriting, editing and proofing will be required. HTML proficiency as well as technical experience (JavaScript, PHP, etc.) is desired to be able to review and make changes in CMS/portal/Web/Mobile as needed. Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook is also desired.

The candidate’s skills and responsibilities will include: a) Be the main point of contact for all principal related content activities for enterprise-wide colleague email publications, the company’s intranet, internet, mobile versions, and social media platforms b) Track content updates for specific releases by coordinating activities and schedules with multiple stakeholders across business units c) Work with the internal team and our creative agency partners for content updates d) Provide guidance to, and work with, communications team members who are responsible for digital channels e) Track and report team progress on content management and assist with monthly Google Analytics and CardioLog reports as needed f) Manage day to day requests for content updates and assure significant content updates are communicated to the website governance board for review and approval prior to being implemented g) Manage content defects on the tracker to ensure fixes are made in an appropriate and timely manner h) Verify content fixes are published and displaying in appropriate requirements i) Train new users on the content management system j) Coordinate content reviews with legal and regulatory teams k) Ensure any non-compliant content or imagery is fixed in a swift and seamless manner l) Communicate all schedules and deadlines to managers for internal digital channels and external digital channels

m) Coordinate with commercial portal development team to create calendar for the coming year for release schedules, etc. n) Take meeting notes for new business requirements and enhancement requests o) Work to ensure digital platforms are up and running and to upgrade functionality p) Daily testing on the portal to ensure navigation and functionality are performing according to specifications q) Strong hands-on HTML/DHTML/CSS/ SharePoint/Drupal/PHP experience to be able to script and review code as needed r) Own updates to the editorial calendar for the companys enterprise-wide email and intranet publishing In addition, the individual should have demonstrated capabilities as a team player and must be able to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment; and perform well and delivery high-quality under deadline.
