KM Specialist, VivaKi – NY

VivaKi seeks to hire a Knowledge Management Specialist. This position is based in New York City.
The Knowledge Management Specialist (for Human Resources) is responsible for managing training and knowledge management programs for new and existing hires within VivaKi. This includes developing content as well as managing training classes and deploying other non-classroom means to expand knowledge.

Responsibilities:

New Hire Onboarding
• Maintain and refine content for new hires
• Project manage course schedule with assistance from Administrative Assistants in each location
• Continuously improve learning programs by suggesting and implementing new ways to improve delivery, logistics and content as well as ensure scalability and effectiveness of the program
• Work with recruiting team and HR generalist to understand hiring forecasts
• Evaluate and enhance program on ongoing basis


Develop Expertise within Existing Hires
• Identify a plan to ensure that employees have access to and are gaining the technical and industry knowledge to make them true experts in digital
• Establish means to foster a culture of learning among employees
• Collaborate with business leaders to create a plan to work toward this end
• Work with HR team to develop and coordinate annual GROW week activities


Improve Connectivity/Knowledge Acquisition
• Plan, manage and coordinate knowledge sharing initiatives
• With a focus on cross product and cross team knowledge, identify solutions that improve connectivity and access to tools and technology that enable knowledge sharing across VivaKi
• Produce recommendations to existing solutions and improve sharing and access to knowledge where alternatives aren’t viable and find new ones where they are


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Minimum Qualifications: 
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of experience in one of the following: course development, training, or organizational design; account management or operations in online advertising, direct marketing, or e-commerce; SharePoint development or administration
• High competency level in MS Office with specific strengths in Excel and PowerPoint
• Competency with learning software and tools (Camtasia, Articulate, etc)
• Able to work independently and balance multiple tasks
• Ability to work with and adapt to all levels in the organization
