Information Analyst/Private Equity, McGladrey – NY
McGladrey LLP is seeking Information Analyst to assist in providing professional research or business/market intelligence services for private equity targets by finding information from relevant internal and external sources.
Position Description:
• Works with team to provide or coordinate the analysis, synthesis, and delivery of data to provide higher value information in support of the private equity business development team, directors and partners.
• Works, as directed, to collaborative with sales and marketing organization to deliver research to optimize marketing activities and position firm for effective sales follow through.
• Delivers information about targeted organizations, industries and business issues to practice professionals, business developers and marketers on an ongoing basis.
•Assists in responding to data requests, maintains data accuracy and develops reporting options
• Assists in analysis and synthesis of information, where requested, to provide higher value information.
• Capable of working in a highly matrixed environment with various levels of marketing and practice professionals, often from varying levels and different departments
• With direction, prepares and presents communications/presentations on the current state of research and anticipates future needs.
• Assists with proposals and other requests.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, research or marketing-related field
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong technology skills with knowledge of CRM and database tools
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
